Tulum Handmade — An online store for artisan dog accessories.

Tulum Handmade, also known as Tulum HM, makes colorful handmade dog collars, leashes, matching sets and accessories, with collar sizes for cats too. The brand works with a community of Tzotzil women artisans in Chiapas, Mexico, pairing their woven designs with leather to blend modern design with traditional techniques.

The business pays its artisans before they buy their raw materials, and its sales help cover vet fees, food and beds for its own dog rescue foundation, which has been taking animals off Mexican streets since 2019.

Tulum HM's products carry a story as well as bright colors: the artisans who make each piece and the rescue work its sales support.

The store had to show hundreds of designs clearly, help owners choose the right size for their pet, and serve buyers both in Mexico and abroad.

We built a WooCommerce store that opens on a full-width banner of stacked, brightly woven collars, followed by a tile for each collection, including Leon, Cabos and Holbox, plus matching sets and accessories. The shop holds hundreds of products with filters by size, price and collection, backed by a dedicated size guide and a switcher that shows prices in US dollars or Mexican pesos.

Two homepage sections tell the artisan and dog rescue stories, followed by customer reviews, an Instagram link and a newsletter sign-up. A WhatsApp chat button, a contact form and an FAQ covering shipping, returns and product care help answer questions before and after a purchase.

Shoppers in Mexico and abroad can browse each collection, filter by their pet's size, see prices in dollars or pesos, and reach the brand on WhatsApp. The artisan and rescue mission sits right on the homepage instead of being tucked away on an about page.

The result is a full online store for an artisan collaboration, set up to ship worldwide.
